CUSTOMS ISSUES AND HOW TO AVOID THEM
Numerous trips of businessmen to China are complicated by registration of the purchased cargo and necessary documents at customs. For everything to go correctly and without delay, entrepreneurs should know some nuances of the procedure or trust specialists from logistics companies.

CORRECT CARGO PACKAGING
At the border, people pay attention to the appearance of goods packaging. It should be dry, durable and clean. Each type of goods has its own rules for its packaging. Failure to comply with these rules will cause the demand to re-pack the goods.

AVAILABLE CARGO MARKING
Characters, numbers, and symbols that contain the required product, recipient and vendor information must be present on the item. This is called marking. It will help recognize the weight and size of the product, its classification, as well as other information.

COMPETENTLY COMPLETED INVOICE
The document received when purchasing goods from a Chinese partner is called an invoice. If it is not properly completed, there may be problems at customs. It specifies the list of purchased goods, their characteristics, including their cost. The invoice must also contain the buyer's and seller's data.

TIMELY PAYMENT OF DUTIES AND OTHER BILLS
Sometimes the goods are delayed at the customs due to non-payment of necessary duties and other payment obligations (taxes, excises, etc.). Timely payment will significantly save the time of passing customs.
